Just sent the signed contract into Ellora's Cave for my first novel! Yipee! Roxanne's Pirate is a 75,000 word contemporary erotic romance. I'll post the blurb and synopsis when they've been cleared with my editor.
I love the people i 'meet' here on these writing sites. I have an MFA, too, but it was killer for me. I was so insecure, yet I knew in my gut I had the goods. I'm so beyond that now and have had some really good successes post degree. I have a book out, The Shadow of a Dog I Can't Forget', am half way through my second book, a novel called Night Surfing and have gotten some really nice Writer's Grants which always boosts our egos. I love that u write erotica, too, that is awesome. One of my writer's goals this year is to write some flashers. I've just started one that I hope to finish to enter into a contest with a September deadline. Anyway, thanks for the post. It was better than most!
